In the last few weeks, our DC members have been out in the community doing outreach with partners, training neighbors on how to protect the immigrant domestic workers around them, and even joining Anti Racist DC’s Racial Justice Summit.

Educating other employers, potential employers, and allies is crucial. It helps us create just and fair workplaces in our own homes, and it extends that work beyond them in pursuit of justice and care for all.

The proposed change to the Disability Questions in the National Health Interview Survey could mean an undercount of people with disability — which would in turn mean a potential loss of care and services. This is yet another attack on disabled people and our care system, and we won’t stay silent.
