DC VICTORY: We stopped the funding cuts to the Domestic Worker Employment Rights Program!

When we received the news of the program losing its budget in the Mayor's budget proposal earlier this year, we were devastated. But through our collective efforts with our worker partners, we were able to sound the alarm that this program is worth saving.

Thanks to Ward 1 Councilmember Brianne Nadeau, our program is not only being fully funded for the next fiscal year — but also now has recurring funding! 🙌
