Five bills moving through California’s Legislature could help strengthen protections for domestic workers, immigrant families, and communities across our state:

AB 2495 — Ash Kalra Assemblymember Mark Gonzalez
AB 1542 — Assemblymember Chris Ward
AB 2599 — Assemblymember Isaac G. Bryan
SB 873 — Senator Eloise Gómez Reyes Senator Tom Umberg
SB 1105 — Senator Sasha Renée Pérez

From protecting workers against immigration-related retaliation to safeguarding sensitive personal information and protecting access to our courts, these fights are connected.

As domestic employers, we have a role to play in all of these fights – and that starts with showing up and standing in solidarity. Workers and immigrant communities deserve policies that protect them, not put them at greater risk. We all do.
