At Hand in Hand, we organize the people who employ nannies, housecleaners, and home attendants to support domestic worker rights. Many of our members are parents, who hire workers to care for their families and homes.

One third of domestic workers are immigrants, and as an organization dedicated to the rights and protections of domestic workers, we stand with the call to Shut Down Dilley. We will not be silent as children and families are detained and terrorized. Nobody should be torn away from their family. We will not stand by as those who provide essential care to our families are demonized.

Listen as Ximena shares why she’s filming this video today — Mother’s Day — to demand we Shut Down Dilley.

Join us today to show how many mothers are missing.

Take action with us:
• Sign the 2 petitions linked in her bio and in our stories.
• Tag and share with 5 moms/parents/allies.

Just as she says: “We will not let this administration normalize this cruelty — Hope is a choice no one can take away from us. We will hold steadfast in hope and in action.”
